Employees approaching age 65 often turn to employers to ask about Medicare enrollment and the benefit options that employees and dependents should start thinking about. Many employers are not in in a position to advise employees in the Medicare space but would still like to provide solid direction to these individuals.
Tristate Senior Plans takes this burden from employers and educates employees on what they need to know about Medicare including how to apply, when to apply and the benefit options that go along with being eligible for Medicare.
There is NO COST to Employers or Employees for working with us. We are paid by the insurance companies we represent.
Medicare is primary for smaller employers with fewer than 20 full time employees . Employees age 65 and older at these smaller employers must have Medicare Parts A and B
The employer's group Medical plan is primary for employers with 20 or more full time employees
- Employers need to be sure they are providing the Medicare Part D notice by October 15 each year. Active employees reaching age 65 and still enrolled in the employer plan may be able to delay in both enrolling in Medicare Part B and paying the Part B premium.

We can help you help your employees who are approaching age 65 or have reached age 65 in one of two ways:
- You can identify these employees(and dependents if you wish) and invite them to a 30-45 minute Medicare education seminar either on site at your location or over the internet.
- You can provide your employees (and dependents) with general information about Medicare and our contact information. We will speak with them on a one-on-one basis on their schedule.
We can help employees enroll for Medicare and confirm their enrollment.
We will help employees determine if they may also be eligible for Medicaid.
We represent multiple insurance companies and will help employees choose the right insurance company and the right plan based on their specific needs.
We will report back to the employer about our work with your employees
